What is a data plan and why is it needed?
The data plan allows the product to connect to the Internet and send its location to the SweTrack Live app. Without a data plan, you cannot see the device's location.
What is included in the data plan?
The data plan offers unlimited mobile data for the GPS tracker and works as standard throughout the EU and Schengen. There is also an option to upgrade to worldwide coverage by choosing the Premium data plan. The product is not tied to any specific carrier and automatically selects the best available coverage, even in Sweden.

Cost and contract period
The data plan costs from 49 SEK/month including VAT and has no lock-in period. You can cancel at any time.
Can I activate the data plan only when I need to track the device?
It is possible, but not recommended. The device must first find its position when the data plan is activated, which requires power and a clear view of the sky. If the device is stolen, it may be without battery or indoors, making tracking more difficult. You will also miss out on location history and will only see the current location.
