The fact that the product has an active data plan allows the product to connect to the Internet and transmit its location to you so that you can see it in the app. Without data traffic, the product will not work, because then it cannot report its position to you. Starting a data plan for your device is easy in just a few steps through SweTrack Live for browsers.
- Go to the web app www.swetrack.com/live and log in to your account. If you do not have an account, click on “Sign up”, follow the instructions and then log in.
- Navigate to the "Data Plans" page. If you're using a computer, click on the icon that looks like a card in the menu on the left. If you're using a mobile device, tap the hamburger menu and then select "Data Plans".
- Click on “Add Card” and fill in your card details.
- Click the "Activate" button and select the data plan that suits you. Then follow the on-screen instructions.
Now the card will be charged monthly for the devices you have chosen to activate.
Remember: The device needs to take a valid position to appear on the map after the data plan has been activated. The easiest way to do this is by shaking the device outdoors or going for a walk/drive around the block. It may take up to 20 minutes for the data plan to activate on your device.
