We often receive emails from customers who need help to obtain the IMEI number of their product. The IMEI number is mainly used when you want to activate or cancel a data plan, but also to register the device to your account. In addition, you need to provide the number when contacting our customer service so that they can help you in the best way.
The number is on the product's box and on the back of the product itself, but if you do not have physical access to the box or product, you can get the number by logging in to your account in SweTrack Live. Here we describe how to do this on a computer or mobile device.
Retrieve the IMEI number from the mobile app
Start by first navigating to My Devices that you reach by tapping the icon on the far left of the lower navigation menu.
Here you get a list of all the devices that you have added to your account. Select device by clicking the arrow icon to the right of the device name. This will open the device settings.
To see more detailed information about your device, tap Extended information. Here you get a list of detailed information about your device. To get an explanation of what all the parts mean, you can tap the icon that looks like an I to the right of the headings.
A heading called IMEI number is also displayed here, and here you can find the specific device’s IMEI number.

If the device is not linked to your account; for example if you installed it but did not add it to your account or deleted it from your account, you need to look at the box to get the IMEI number. If you have discarded the box, you need to look at the back of the product where the IMEI number is on a sticker. If you have removed the sticker, or if the text on the sticker is illegible, contact us and we will investigate whether there may be a last resort to identify the device.
