In SweTrack Live you can see detailed information about your device. This can be, for example, the IMEI number of the device, the status of the ignition, when the device was last connected, the status of the data plan and the battery level. The following article goes through how to access the above information through SweTrack Live, both on mobile and browser.
SweTrack Live for mobile:
Start by first navigating to My Devices that you reach by tapping the icon on the far left on the lower navigation menu.
Here you get a list of all the devices that you have added to your account.
If you place your finger over the device name and swipe to the left, you will see different options.
If you tap the pin icon instead, you will see where your current device is on the map.
If you tap the device name directly without swiping or tap the arrow icon to the right of the device name, you will open the device settings.
To see more detailed information about your device, tap Extended information.
Here you get a list of detailed information about your device. To get a quick summary over what the information means you can tap the information icon that looks like an i to the right of the headings.
Device Information:
Name - The name of the device. This is your optional name for the device. To edit the name of the device, see article Edit a device
Model - The model of your product.
IMEI number - The device identification number. You will find the identification number both on the physical product and on the box. The identification number is unique for each device and cannot be changed. This is also the number customer service will ask about, if you need help with anything related to your device.
Ignition - Indicates if your ignition is turned on or off.
Network Information:
Connection Status - Indicates whether the device is currently online or offline. The device becomes offline when it has not been in contact with the app for about 10 minutes. Note that the power saving mode allows the device to go offline after a certain time when it does not note movement or activity.
Last seen - The last time the device had contact with the app. Note that this may differ from the time the device uploaded location data.
Data plan - Shows if there is a data plan for the device (data plan is needed for the device
to work). No means that the device currently has no active data plan. Auto Card means that the data plan is activated through a card payment. Cancel means that the data plan will not be renewed and will expire on the date displayed. Failed means that a renewal of the data plan failed, and the device will be deactivated shortly. Prepaid means that the data plan is prepaid and will expire on the date displayed. Invoice means that the data plan is paid through an automatic invoice.
Battery information:
Battery status - Battery level for the device’s internal battery. Calculated in percentage.
Power supply - Indicates if the device is properly connected to an external power source. Yes means the device was properly connected to and receives power from an external power source. No means that the device was not properly connected and currently doesn’t receive power from an external power source.
Power Saving Mode - Indicates if the device has any power saving mode activated, and if so, what power saving mode the device currently has.
New Power Saving Mode- Indicates if the device is set to change power saving mode
and has not yet changed to the new mode. As soon as the new power saving mode has been adopted by the device, this option disappears.
External battery:
External battery status - Battery level for the external battery that the device is connected to. Shown in volt.
SweTrack Live for browsers
You can view detailed information about your device through two ways:
Either by clicking on a device in the device list on the homepage.
Or you can navigate to My Devices which you reach by clicking the second option in the menu on the left and then click on a device in the device list.
This will open the device settings.
To see more detailed information about your device, click on Extended information.
