If you want to add a device to an account, you can quickly do so on SweTrack Live with just a few simple steps. The following article goes through on how to proceed, for both mobile and browser.
SweTrack Live for mobile:
Start by first navigating to My Devices that you reach by tapping the icon on the far left in the lower navigation menu.
Tap the plus icon next to My Devices. This will take you to the page where you add new devices.
Select a custom name for your device by clicking Device Name.
There are two ways to add a device. In the first option, press QR SCANNER which opens up your mobile camera. Then scan the QR code found on the box of the product. The IMEI number will then be filled in directly on SweTrack Live.
In the second option, select TEXT and enter the IMEI number in the text field manually. You can find the IMEI number on the product’s box or directly on the device.
When you have filled in all the information, tap Add new device to complete the registration. You will then be taken back to the list of your devices.
SweTrack Live for browsers:
Start by first navigating to My Devices that you reach by clicking on the second option in the menu on the left. Here you get a list of all the devices that you have added to your account.
Then click on Add Device located above the list of all your devices. This will open up a text field.
Enter the IMEI number of the device. You can find the IMEI number on the product box or directly on the device.
After typing the IMEI number, click on ADD. If the IMEI number is incorrect, an error message will appear under the text field. If the IMEI number is correct, a check mark will appear to the right of the text field and a message will inform you that the device has been added.
The device is now added to your account. To edit the device name click on a device in the list and then click Edit Device and enter a new name. Read more under edit device.
