The following article explains how to share your device's location in SweTrack Live. The explanation is based on SweTrack Live for mobile. Unfortunately, it is currently not possible to share device location with others in the browser version of SweTrack Live.
Before you can start using the product, it is important that you have followed all the Getting Started articles. Once you have created an account on SweTrack Live, you can log in with that account and follow the steps below.
Note that you can only have one account per product, but the same account can be logged in to several computers or mobile devices at the same time.
SweTrack Live for mobile:
When you launch the mobile application, a map is displayed where you see the most recently reported location of all your SweTrack devices. The position of the device is indicated by a symbol on the map.
To get a list of your specific devices, tap on finger on Choose vehicle. You will then see a list of all the devices you have. Information displayed here is the name of the device, whether it’s online or offline, and information on the right side of the device name, stating when it was last connected.
If you tap a device on the list, the map will focus on that specific device. You can also focus on a device by tapping its icon directly on the map. If you then press View more specific info in the white text box, you will be able to see more detailed information about the device.
By then pressing Share location, you can get the option to share your position with others. You can do this in three ways.
Either you press SMS, you will then share a link to Google Maps that shows your device's location to a selected phone number. Or you choose Mail to send the same link via email. It is also possible to copy a link to Google Maps and then share it in any way you like. To do this, press Copy.
