With SweTrack Live, you can choose to receive alarm notifications (push notifications) when your device triggers a specific event. In SweTrack Live, you can freely choose which push notifications you want to appear. Below we go through how to find and change your notification settings, both on mobile and on the browser.
Not receiving any notifications on your mobile? Then troubleshoot with the following article: Push notifications not appearing.

Ignition on - Sends a notification when the device detects voltage on the ignition cable, ie the ignition has been switched on (note that this only works if the orange cable is connected to the ignition)

Can I make the sound really loud, like a siren, when my SweTrack device sends an alarm?
This is a very common question and unfortunately the answer is no. Due to technical limitations, the notifications from the SweTrack app will have the same sound volume as the system volume (ring volume). The sound that is played when you receive a notification from the SweTrack app is always the system's default tone for notifications ("Tri-tone" on iOS, the manufacturer's note sound on Android).
What do you mean by "technical limitations"?
When developing iOS & Android applications, you must adhere to Apple's and Google's rules on how an application should be designed. A rule, function and limitation that exists in these operating systems is that it is impossible to exceed the current system volume (current ring volume). Regardless of whether we would like it to be able to exceed it here, it is technically impossible.
Finally, it is also impossible to exceed the maximum volume available on the phone, that is: if the phone's volume is at maximum volume, it is not possible to make it sound any louder.
